Mark Abramovich Founder
Mark is the Founder of First Light Capital Partners. He was born and raised in Lawrenceville, NJ the son of a middle class school teacher and electrical engineer who imbued him with his strong work ethic and moral compass. He became interested in acquiring and operating a business after a 4-year stint at Charles Jones LLC, where he saw firsthand how his entrepreneurial spirit and managerial skill set dramatically add value to small/mid-sized companies. Mark loves the family business culture.
Prior to Charles Jones, Mark Co-founded LifeCuff, a medical device company with technology to improve outcomes in heart attack, stroke and diabetic foot ulcer. He also designed the innovative Panálysis model, a tool for pandemic management which won him recognition from the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC). In other parts of his career he was an equity research associate analyst for Wachovia Securities (now Wells Fargo) and an operations supervisor for Airborne Express (now DHL). He is a prior United States Marine Corps Officer.
Mark resides in Brooklyn with his wife Rebekah and their cats Sky and Leia and their big white dog Argos.
